Two people, including an ECU student, are facing charges for breaking into their neighbors' apartments.

Jamal Spell, 23, and Christopher Martin, 20, who police say is an ECU student, are facing charges for break-ins at Wilson Acres apartment complex on First Street in Greenville. Police say both men live at that complex and broke into apartments between December 12 and December 27.

To get into the apartments, police say Spell and Martin broke through a back kitchen window and stole electronics and cash.

Spell is charged with four counts each of breaking and entering and larceny. Martin is charged with one count of the same crimes. Police say a third suspect, Jack Ellis, 21, of Raeford, has warrants out for his arrest.

Police say tips to Crime Stoppers helped in this investigation.
