Duplin County Drug Ring Bust Turns Up Fake Prescriptions, 1900 Pills

Duplin County investigators say they confiscated 1900 pills worth almost 20-thousand dollars in a prescription drug ring bust.

Sheriff Blake Wallace says the investigation started last September when they pulled a car over and found 465 prescription pills inside. That discovery led to Sarah Boone's Rose Hill home where they say they found more pills, fake prescriptions, and a computer used to make fake prescriptions.

Three people were initially arrested, and now five more have been charged. Most of the pills were Adderall, Percocet and Xanax.
