Duplin County deputies say they originally went to the home on Carroll's Road outside of Warsaw on a child support complaint. Once there they saw drug paraphernalia laying around the room.

At first the owner, Seth Smith, denied deputies be allowed to search the home. While awaiting a search warrant, deputies say Smith admitted to having a fire extinguisher containing the meth ingredient in the refrigerator.

In an initial news release, deputies said the anhydrous ammonia was found inside a fire hydrant.

Smith was arrested, and both he and Misty Cole were charged with possession of meth precursor, manufacturing methamphetamine, and maintaining a dwelling for purpose of manufacturing a controlled substance. Bond for the two was set at $400,000.
