A man wanted on several child sex charges in Georgia has been arrested here in the east.
New Bern Police and the Craven County Sheriff's Office helped the Newton County Sheriff's Office in Georgia arrest 50-year-old Darryl Forbes on a fugitive warrant.
Forbes is charged under the child exploitation prevention act of 2007, computer or electronic pornography, and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
Forbes is behind bars in the Craven County jail under no bond.
