Greenville DMV Adding Saturday Hours Starting March 2nd

The Division of Motor Vehicles says it will offer Saturday hours at driver license offices across the state.

The Greenville DMV location on Memorial Drive will be one of the first locations to start the Saturday service, on March 2nd. Other locations will be the North Raleigh and West Charlotte offices.

DMV Commissioner James Forte says the extended hours will make it easier and more convenient to conduct business with the state.

The offices will be open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. The DMV says most regular driver license services, including regular road tests, will be offered, with the exception of CDL skills tests, medical re-exams and motorcycle skills tests.

The DMV says starting March 4, these three offices will be open for extended hours, from 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. It says other offices will be gradually phased in for Saturday and longer weekday hours.
