DEPUTIES: Undercover Drug-Buy Nets Two Arrests

Investigators say when they tried serving warrants on one man, another man used his car to hit a deputy's cruiser.

Beaufort County Sheriff's Office investigators say they conducted controlled buys of cocaine from 36-year-old Frederick Carter.

Deputies say on June 28th, Kasey Bragg was driving a car with Carter inside as the passenger.

According to investigators, as the car pulled into Carter's driveway, they followed the vehicle only to be hit by it.

Both men were arrested and deputies say they found cocaine and crack-cocaine smoking materials in the vehicle.

Cater is charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine. His bond was set at $8,500.

Bragg was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, resist, delay, or obstructing an officer, injury to personal property, and assault with a deadly weapon. His bond set at $25,000.
