Lenoir County Deputies Searching For Home Invasion Suspects

Deputies said a man had just parked in front of his Lenoir County home and was walking to the door when three men surrounded him, armed with an assault rifle and a handgun, demanding money.

Deputies said they got the call around 10:20 p.m. on Sunday night to 107 Simmons Street in LaGrange for a home invasion.

Michael Jackson told deputies he parked his car and was walking to his home when he was approached by three men, some armed, who were demanding to be taken inside the home and given money.

Jackson told deputies he led the three to the back door of the house.

Two other men were in the home, according to deputies: Andrew Jackson and Antonio Johnson.

Deputies said the Andrew Jackson got in an fight with one robber, and was hit in the head with an assault rifle.

The three robbers got away with a 42-inch television, an Xbox, and some money.

Deputies said the three left in a green, 4-door sedan, and investigators are still looking for them.

All three robbers are described as black males. One was in his early 20s, light skinned, and had the silver revolver.

Investigators said the other two men were in their 30s, the man with the rifle was a dark-skinned man with dreadlocks. The third robber was only described as in his 30s and dark-skinned.
