DEPUTIES: Jacksonville Man Causes Infant's Shaken Baby Syndrome

Deputies say man who was supposed to be caring for a 7-month-old baby girl with causing her to have shaken baby syndrome.

28-year-old Cedrick Williams of Jacksonville was charged July 25th with intentional child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury and assault on a child under the age of 12.

Williams is accused of causing his girlfriend's daughter to have a subdural hemorrhage while he was supposed to be caring for the infant.

Williams' secured bond was set at $125,000 and he is due back in court on August 15th.

The condition of the baby is unclear.
