A 13-year-old girl is now home from the hospital, after being shot in the leg during a drive-by shooting.
Pitt County deputies are working to find the person who fired into the home early Tuesday morning on Caleb Street.
Deputies said three children, including the victim, and their mom were home at the time of the 1:00 a.m. shooting.
The 13-year-old has been identified as Cherdavron Barrett, while the mother is Cherkaryan Barrett. The other two children inside were a one year old and a seven year old, who were not injured.
Investigators believe this is an isolated shooting, with gunfire going into the home and striking two cars also parked in the driveway.
The teen was taken to Vidant Medical Center and was released late Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators believe the mobile home was targeted because of a possible acquaintance of the mother.
