Crime Stoppers Tip Leads Deputies To Breaking And Entering Suspect

A young man who eluded deputies by disguising his appearance has been arrested.

18-year old Mason Warren of Robersonville has already bonded out of jail, but Pitt County authorities say a Crime Stoppers tip led them to the suspect.

On April 14, Warren led several agencies on a foot chase near the Tar River starting by the Greene Street Bridge.

Deputies say he was able to get away after he changed clothes and disguised his appearance.

Warren is wanted for several breaking and entering and larceny cases in the Stokes area.
