Craven County Drug, Guns Bust Turns Up 3 Arrests

Craven County deputies say they arrested 3 men after searching a home and finding cocaine, crack, pot, and guns.

The Craven County Sheriff's Office says Vonn Koonce and Donnie Smith Jr. Both of Vanceboro and Matthew Hardy of Grifton are all charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies say they found 364 grams of marijuana plants, 96 grams of marijuana, 3 grams of cocaine, 7 grams of crack, along with 5 long rifles and three pistols at Koonce's house on Main Street in Vanceboro.

Koonce is being held on a $300,000 bond and the other two had bonds set at a $100,000.
