Couple Wins Wedding As Part Of "Operation Marry Me Military"

After nearly a year of being engaged, a North Carolina couple will tie the knot in November thanks to Operation Marry Me Military and Open Aperture Photography.

Cpl. Waggter Paul, Jr. and Jonai Lloyd are the winners of 2014's Operation Marry Me Military Craven County wedding.

They will get married at Tryon Palace on Veterans Day. A press release from Open Aperture Photography said it is a great way for Craven County's wedding vendors to give back to the military community.

Cpl. Paul is a Purple Heart recipient who is stationed in Camp Lejeune but currently deployed in the Middle East. Lloyd is an ECU student.

The couple has been engaged since October of 2013, but deployments and financial hardship has made it difficult for them to marry, according to the press release.
