Convicted Felons Charged With Lying To Greenville Police About Shooting

Two convicted felons are now charged with lying to police about how they ended up with gunshot wounds.

Greenville police say 26-year-old Anthony Lester of Halifax County and 23-year-old Samuel Finch of Edgecombe County reported they were shot Saturday in Greenville near the Moyewood housing area. Detectives now believe they were in a car together, and exchanged gunfire with people in another car in Edgecombe County where at least one other person was injured.

Both felons have several prior arrests, some of them include; armed robbery, assault, kidnapping, attempted murder, and drug offenses.
