NEW INFO: Computers Stolen From PCC Classroom

Authorities say 15 laptop computers were stolen from a classroom at Pitt Community College this morning.

The college says the theft happened in one classroom in the Humber Building on campus. Classes in that classroom were affected, but by 11:00 a.m. it reopened.

For a while this morning, crime scene tape blocked one of the entrances of the building.

The laptops were taken from a physics classroom and are valued at $17,000.
