Cold Front Moves In Monday Night

A strong cold front from Canada that is currently sweeping across the Midwest will arrive in eastern Carolina on Monday night. The dry, arctic air behind this front will cause temperatures to plummet. The lack of moisture means this will not be a snow event for eastern Carolina, despite the sub 0°C temperatures. Highs for Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 30s. Lows for Tuesday night will fall all the way in to the teens. We'll start to shake the cold temperatures Thursday as high temperatures warm back up to the mid 40s.
