A strong cold front will cross eastern Carolina on Friday bringing a change in the weather pattern. A few showers may accompany and follow the front Friday morning. Rainfall should generally be light and will move out of the area by late Friday.
Cooler and drier air will move into eastern Carolina by Friday night with overnight lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Sunshine with highs in the middle to upper 70s can be expected both Saturday and Sunday.
