Above normal temperatures will move into eastern Carolina on Wednesday. Afternoon highs will reach the lower 70s under partly to mostly cloudy skies.
A cold front will move through the area late Thursday bringing mostly cloudy skies, but just a few showers. Rainfall should remain less than a quarter inch in most locations with highs again reaching the low 70s.
The front will sweep the clouds and moisture off the coast Thursday evening with sunny and cooler conditions moving into the area on Friday and Saturday.
