The coastal storm responsible for the heavy rain and winds of the last couple of days will drift slowly north of the area today.
Skies will stay cloudy Thursday with periods of drizzle or patchy light rain. Winds will come down to about 10 to 15 mph out of the northwest.
By Friday and into the weekend the storm will be slowly pulling away from the east coast. Skies will stay mostly cloudy through the weekend with highs reaching into the low 70s.
