High pressure will take control of our weather pattern on Friday. Sunshine and a light northerly breeze can be expected throughout the day. Temperatures will be near 50°, except middle to upper 40s along the Outer Banks. An area of low pressure will develop off the North Carolina coast by Saturday bringing a chance for rain, especially in the coastal area. Temperatures will stay in the 40s much of the day. Clearing and slightly warmer conditions will arrive on Sunday as highs reach the lower 50s.
