(WHDH) A court officer was taken away on a stretcher after a man lunged at murder suspect during a hearing in Chelsea, Massachusetts Monday.
The incident happened when the district attorney discussed the gruesome details of the deadly stabbing at a Revere mobile home park.
The officer is okay but was injured trying to stop an altercation in the courtroom.
Peter Deconinck, 46, of Revere was arrested at an MBTA station on Saturday night with blood visible on his body. Police charged him with the murder of a 50-year-old Winthrop man at a mobile home park Saturday night.
