Car Flips On Slick Pitt County Road

Troopers say road conditions were slick when a car ran off the road and flipped over in Pitt County Thursday afternoon.

The Highway Patrol says a woman driving southwest on Stokes Road in Pitt County ran off the road while rounding a curve and flipped landing in some trees. The driver was the only person in the car. She was not injured, but may face a citation for exceeding safe speed for conditions.
