(NBC News) Witness video shows a police boat striking a docked vessels in the Potomac River near Georgetown.
The incident happened Saturday evening around seven o"clock local time.
One boat partially sank in the water and crews are working to refloat the craft.
No one was on the personal boat at the time of the collision.
Witness video shows the police boat making a sharp turn with lights and sirens on.
It appears to strike boats that were near the shore, and then continue down river.
Investigators are looking into the accident.
