People traveling Highway 12 Monday morning in the area of the Herbert C. Bonner Bridge should know about a temporary shutdown.
The Department of Transportation says that it will halt traffic on both sides of the bridge on at 9 am Monday for approximately 30 minutes.
The shutdown is so the DOT's location and survey's unit can perform a routine mobile scan of the bridge.
In 2012 the department installed scanning technology to allow it to closely monitor any movement of the bridge.
A series of points are marked along 150 of the bridge's 200 spans.
