A county water system that has been recently plagued with water line breaks is telling customers in one section to boil their water.
Pamlico County's water system says those residents along Oriental Road, and those on adjoining roads and subdivisions are experiencing low or no water pressure after a break.
The water system says utility installation crews inadvertently struck the line during an installation.
The county will distribute bottled water at the Pecan Grove Marina in the parking lot adjacent to Building C starting at 4:00 p.m.
Earlier this month two people were arrested after deputies say they were purposely vandalizing county water lines. One of those arrested ran the company that did emergency water line repairs for the county.
