Blockbuster Closing More Stores, Including Both In Greenville

Blockbuster is apparently closing more locations in Eastern Carolina, including both Greenville stores.

Earlier this year the movie rental chain announced that it was shutting down 300 locations nationwide, including one in Greenville and another in Kinston. Now, store employees at the other Blockbuster on Greenville Boulevard say it too is closing on May 30th.

Calls to other stores confirm the same story. Employees say the New Bern, Goldsboro and Rocky Mount locations will also close on May 30th. A call to Blockbuster in Jacksonville went unanswered this morning.

We've attempted to contact Blockbuster corporate headquarters in Colorado, but so far there's been no response.
