1,000 Mile Bike Ride To Remember Fallen Officers Makes ENC Pit Stops

Law enforcement officers biking up the east coast to honor fallen officers made a pit stops in the east Monday and Tuesday..

The riders are traveling from Georgia to Washington D.C.

A group of bikers--including a local deputy, made a stop in Jacksonville Monday before they continue on their 1,000 mile ride.

Tuesday, the bikers gathered in front of the police station in Greenville where they received an escort through downtown.

The widow and son of local deputy Steve Boehm, killed five years ago in the line of duty welcomed the riders in Jacksonville.
