Deputies said a traffic stop ended in a drug arrest early Tuesday morning in Beaufort County.
Deputies said around 1:30 a.m., they got a call of an erratic driver on Highway 264 west of Washington.
Investigators said they pulled over 70-year-old Allen Lewis of Grantsboro to find he did not have a license, but was carrying drug paraphernalia.
Beaufort County deputies said they found smoking pipes, syringes, and plastic baggies before arresting Lewis.
The Grantsboro man's bond was set at $5,000 on charges of heroin possession, drug paraphernalia, and other traffic related charges.
