State alcohol agents have charged a man for making moonshine.
Retired Beaufort County Water Systems Manager Benson Jett of Pinetown, was charged with the manufacture of nontax-paid spirituous liquor, possession of said liquor and possession of manufacturing equipment, according to Alcohol Law Enforcement agents.
Jett was cited Friday, when authorities seized 25 bottles of clear liquor from him.
The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office says there was no mugshot taken of Jett.
