Onslow County deputies say they're investigating the death of an infant who was sleeping with his parents.
Deputies say they were called around 1:30 a.m. The mother told deputies the one month old was found dead when she awoke to feed the baby.
The Sheriff's Office says the father is 22 and mother is 20 years old. Deputies say the mother told them she found blood on the baby's face and called 911.
Investigators are now awaiting a cause of death from the medical examiner.
