A week to the day since a man was shot in the head at his home, deputies said they would canvass that same neighborhood looking for more information.

On Tuesday, the Pitt County Sheriff's Office said detectives would be combing through the community in Farmville where Anthony Parker was shot in the head.

The Sheriff's Office says investigators will canvas the neighborhood as well as conduct a checking station from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and another canvas and checking station will be conducted between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30p.m. Both will consist of patrol units and detectives handing out fliers and requesting any information.

On Tuesday, May 28th, deputies said the man was shot in the head outside his home on Lynch Street and left in the front yard.

Deputies said this Tuesday, they will be handing out fliers in the community and talking with neighbors in an effort to find more information leading to the shooter.

Last week, Parker's family told WITN the man was still in a coma from the assault.
