FIRST ON WITN: Armed Robbery At Greenville Walgreens

Police are now on the scene of an armed robbery that happened before sunrise at a Greenville Walgreens.

Greenville Police tell WITN they are investigating an armed robbery at 671 South Memorial Drive, which is near Vidant Medical Center. The robbery by a masked gunman was reported around 5:35 a.m.

Police say the gunman was wearing a yellow and blue plaid, flannel jacket, dark pants, and a mask. He is a black man who stands about six feet tall.

The gunman was last seen leaving on foot, however, police say he may have gotten into a vehicle. Police are searching the area and working to get security camera footage.

No injuries were reported.
