A former ECU football player is one of three three people arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Greenville.
Derek Blacknall was a defensive back for the Pirates last season. ECU says he is a current student at the university. He's been charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintain a dwelling for the sale of controlled substances and possess drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $25,000.
Blacknall and his twin brother, Cedric, and Christian Braxton, were arrested after the armed robbery of a woman at The Landing Apartment Complex early Tuesday morning.
Braxton was actually charged with the armed robbery, while Cedric Blacknall was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of a stolen weapon.
