Arrest Made In Church Parking Lot Vehicle B&E's

An arrest has been made in connection with a rash of vehicle break-ins in church parking lots since October.

Greenville police have charged Kevin Brown with 17 of those vehicle break-ins where purses or other items were stolen.

Brown was first arrested Monday for three vehicle B&E's that occurred on Wimbledon Drive and on Old Fire Tower Road. They say further investigation led detectives to bring the church parking lot charges.

Police say they are continuing to investigate other cases and additional charges against Brown and others may occur.

Bond for Brown was increased an additional $250,000.
