NEW INFO: Amber Alert Cancelled After Search For Stolen Vehicle With 17-Month-Old Inside

The Amber Alert for missing 17-month-old Shylin Neal has now been cancelled.

Shylin was found safe in Greensboro.

Earlier on Friday, police had asked for help statewide finding the child who was asleep in a vehicle, which was stolen from a Food Lion parking lot.

High Point Police said they got a call around 9:50 Thursday night to the Food Lion on Brian Jordan Place.

Investigators say a Michael Campbell told them his god-daughter was asleep inside the car, so he went into the store for no more than five minutes, and returned to find the car missing.

Police said the car was left unlocked and running.

Officers told reporters at this point, child safety was the main concern.

No word yet if charges will be filed against the Campbell.
