Agencies Work Together For DWI Checkpoint

By  |

Several local law enforcement agencies held a DWI checkpoint in Greenville overnight. The officers, deputies, troopers and others set up the checkpoint at the intersection of Fifth St. and Cemetery Rd. in Greenville Wednesday at 10 p.m. The checkpoint continued until 2 a.m. Thursday.

The groups working on the event included the Greenville Police Department, the Pitt County Sheriff's Office and the Highway Patrol.

We're working to find out the number of tickets written during the checkpoint from Greenville police.
