One of the men police say hooked up ATMs to a truck and then ripped the machines out of two Walgreens stores, went before a judge this morning on a slew of charges in that case.

Police arrested 32-year old Christopher Hoover in Florida last week. He was brought back to Pitt County over the weekend.

Hoover's facing 2 counts of safe-cracking, and breaking and entering among other charges. Police believe Hoover is one of the men involved in this break-in of the Walgreen's on September 13th on Highway 11 at Fire Tower road in Winterville.

Officers found an ATM had been pulled out through the front door of the business and into the parking lot where it was emptied. A Walgreen's on Greenville Boulevard was hit prior to this one that same night.

Two other suspects are believed to be involved.

The judge this morning kept Hoover's bond at $200,000 secured.

Around an hour later, police say the same thing happened at the Winterville location on Highway 11 at Fire Tower Road.
