High pressure just off the East Coast will continue to pump warm air into the region through Halloween. Highs will lift into the upper 70s during Halloween afternoon. It will stay mild through Halloween evening with temperatures near 70°. Skies should remain partly cloudy throughout the period.
A cold front will approach on Friday with showers developing during the afternoon hours. Scattered showers will continue Friday night into Saturday morning before the front pushes offshore by midday Saturday.
Cooler and drier air will filter into the area on Saturday with sunshine returning during the afternoon and again on Sunday. Overnight lows will dip into the 40s by late Saturday night with highs Sunday in the low 60s.
