A mild weather pattern is shaping up across eastern Carolina for Tuesday. A weak cold front will push southward then dissipate across the region Tuesday night. About the only change will be a wind shift to the northeast on Tuesday afternoon. Highs will be near 70° under partly cloudy skies. Warmer air will move into the area by Wednesday and continue through Friday. Afternoon highs will surge into the middle to upper 70s by Halloween afternoon. The next chance for significant shower activity will be Friday as a cold front approaches and moves through the area.
