A Mild Friday Across Eastern Carolina

High pressure building along the Middle Atlantic Coast will bring a cool to mild breeze across eastern Carolina on Friday. Northeasterly winds will blow at 10 to 18 mph but could be gusty to 25 mph at times. Early clouds will give way to some afternoon sunshine on Friday. Temperatures will cool overnight into the lower 50s then rebound into the lower 70s during the afternoon. The current weather pattern will hold into the weekend with partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 70s. The next chance for rain will arrive early next week.
