North Carolina-based Blackwater USA is the subject of a joint U.S.-Iraqi investigation following the shooting of eight civilians in Iraq earlier this month.
But the secretive security company in Moyock near the Virginia border has succeeded in its primary mission. Not one diplomat has died while being guarded by Blackwater.
