A New Bern Man will have his first appearance in court Monday for allegedly breaking into his father's home.
New Bern Police tell us, on Friday night just after 11:30, a witness saw 49 year old Perry Robert Natella coming out of the garage with plastic bags at 1410 Benfield Avenue. Police say Natalla had a history of trespassing on his father's property.
Investigators say Natella ran from the scene once he noticed he was spotted. After a brief search, Natella was found at Stalling Parkway.
He was arrested and charged with one count of Felony Breaking and Entering. Natella was being held in the Craven County Jail under a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court September 24, 2007.
