Church members and the Greenville Community rallied around the Memorial Baptist month after month, until they were able to move into their fellowship hall, last week, to hold services.
Sunday, the members of Memorial Baptist, thanked all the firefighters, law enforecement and detectives who worked to help save their church. And they recognized all the churches which opened their doors to them as they started to rebuild. It's a moment Pastor Randy McKinney says was important to them.
After the service, the congregation hosted a catered dinner outside at the same place they held service the first day after the fire.
