What better way to capture the outdoors than by capturing it with pictures? That's what you can do at Goose Creek State Park in Beaufort County.
It's the seventh annual photography contest. The photos have to have been taken in the park within the past year. Each contestant is limited to three photo entries and prints can be no larger than 5 x 7.
The deadline is September 30. For more information, you can call park officials at 252-923-2191. Prizes will be given away, and the winning pictures could be used in the future at the park.
