It was a party that could save your life.
Sunday afternoon and evening in Snow Hill it was Fiesta Latina, a party that gives the hispanic population and the local citizens a chance to interact and mingle. There was live music, food, balloons for the kids, and even a petting zoo. However, as event organizers say, the main attraction was medical screening booths aimed at keeping all people in this country healthy. According to event organizers, every year, there are people that find out for the first time that they have diabetes or another illness
There were still a number of groups that attended the Fiesta Latina, but organizers say, rain kept a lot of the educators and attendees at home.
