Tarboro Police Eyeing New Location

Tarboro may spend as much as $850,000 to move the police department into a building that's now vacant. The town council agreed to purchase the old BB&T bank building in downtown Tarboro from State Senator Clark Jenkins for $35,000. Police hope they'll make the move within the next year.
