It was a special visit in an effort to bring hope to kids facing terminal or chronic illnesses.
X-Games bike champion Dave Mirra of Greenville visited some of those kids at Pitt County Memorial Hospital Friday. This is the third year in a row for his visits as part of the Dave Mirra Weekend to benefit The Dream Factory. Mirra is recently back from the X-Games in Los Angeles where he won a gold medal.
The rest of the Dave Mirra Weekend will include a benefit dinner and golf tournament.
