Vacant Home Goes Up In Flames

An early morning fire Monday destroyed a Craven County home.

Crews were called to 413 Rockledge Road in River Bend around 4 a.m. When they got there the house was fully engulfed in flames.

It took crews about 45 minutes to bring the fire under control. The house is a total loss. Crews say no one lives at the house right now but it is up for sale.

The fire is under investigation.
