A North Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper is suppose to catch those driving while drunk not be arrested for it.
Officials say they charged 41 Year Old First Sergeant John B. Warren for D-W-I in Nash County this morning.
Troopers say Warren got involved in an argument with a woman at her home off Highway 97. The Nash County Sheriff's Office was called in to deal with the altercation.
Breath tests showed Warren had a blood-alcohol content level of 0.13. Warren is a 19-year veteran of the force and is stationed in Raleigh, he now on leave following an investigation.
