Hospitals Getting Prepared For Potential Storms

They say food supplies, water, additional staff, and generators are items they will be bringing in should the storm develop into a tropical storm or hurricane. Onslow County is no stranger to hurricanes, the community has experienced big ones such as Fran and Bertha...And in cases like that they operated on a different disaster plan.
Hospital officials say during hurricane Bertha and Fran, many hospital employees operated on twenty four hour shifts.
