Local Man One Step Closer to Gold

An Eastern Carolina native is getting closer to gold in Athens.

After Sunday's competition in the tornado sailing event at the Olympics, Eastern Carolina native Charlie Ogletree sits atop the leaderboard. Ogletree who was born in Greenville and teammate John Lovell grabbed the over-all lead after a quick start in Sunday's action. The racing continues Monday and throughout the upcoming week.
